54% Barbera Lonesome Springs Vineyard

33% Cabernet Sauvignon Goose Ridge Vineyard

13% Sangiovese Candy Mountain Vineyard

Ruby garnet in color. Red berry fruit. Great mid palate of red berry fruit. Finishing with notes of underbrush and tilled earth.

"This blend of 54% Barbera, 33% Cabernet Sauvignon and 13% Sangiovese offers an enticing raspberry, cherry and plum nose with sage scents. The flavors are generous and hearty, with tasty, forward red fruits. Bright, cherry-like fruit acids (from the Barbera) keep the wine lively, making for an ideal pasta wine. 18+/20 points." - Rand Sealey's Review of Washington Wines

Sangiovese - $26 bottle/$265.20 case

2006 Columbia Valley, 750 ml.

Candy Mountain Vineyard

Medium ruby garnet color. Bouquet of brambly, cherry fruit. Tart, bright, red cherry fruit, licorice and balancing earthy complexity. Great foil to rich Italian cuisine.

"This is a very attractive red. It shows a deep ruby color and an enticing nose of raspberry, mulberry and rose petals. The flavors are nicely rounded, with ripe, chewy textures emerging on the mid palate, and then followed by a tangy cherry fruit background, accented by touches of cocoa, dried berries earth and anise on a sweet-dry tannin finish. 18+/20 points."
